We have an Outreach team for students with particularly complex backgrounds and fragmented educational experiences. These students require careful and considerate planning of the appropriate educational offer. Outreach develops relationships with our most vulnerable students to support them socially and academically so they can work towards being in the classroom again. Often, being out of a school or classroom situation for some considerable time, it takes our skilled practitioners to support these students to believe in themselves again and access an education that works for them.

The Outreach team builds bespoke study packages around a student's needs to support a blended approach to education. These packages are a mix of and not limited to:-

Face to face academic work at home or in the community.

Online learning.

Mentoring

Social groups

Social activities

Cooking

Attendance at one of our many alternative provision partners.

Over time, students are gradually introduced into the school environment once they have built upon their skills and confidence.
