The Salvation Army and KWS
Students at KWS are able to access a volunteering experience at The Salvation Army, Bedford. This is a weekly event where young people assist the Salvation Army staff and volunteers to provide refreshments, companionship and a friendly face to some of the neediest people from a range of social backgrounds in the Bedford area. Many of the people we meet are homeless or lonely and often struggling financially. The students make and serve sandwiches and hot and cold drinks and play games.
