Mentoring and Outreach

KWS offers mentoring and outreach work throughout the year not solely during term times.

Mentoring is offered in order to support young people, their parents and the families either at times of crisis or in order to help support desired outcomes for the young person. KWS offers a range of parental support including Positive Parenting classes as well as support for families on a more practical basis. Support can focus on particular areas such as parenting older children and parenting children with specific special needs.

Outreach is offered not only to pupils currently studying at KWS but is also used in order to support a number of children in the local areas to ensure that they can contribute and make a positive impact on their communities.
